2009-2010 AmeriCorps Member Application Instructions
Thank you for your interest in the Youth Action Project’s AmeriCorps program! We’re always excited when someone takes an interest in service. Becoming an AmeriCorps member comes with many rewards, but it is also a substantial commitment. Our members provide services throughout the city of San Bernardino by assisting local high school students with preparing for the exit exam and graduation. We also have a community engagement team responsible for planning and facilitating community-benefit events and workshops. In order to provide the most effective services to benefit our participants we seek highly qualified individuals who are able to commit to a full year of being engaged in service. Our application materials are designed to help us get to know you, your strengths, and learn more about your motivations for participating in service.
The application deadline for the 2009-2010 program year has been extended to the end of October, however applicants are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible because there are a limited number of slots available.
